How does Syed's Library work?

How much does it cost to borrow a book?

The standard price is ₹40 per book per week. Weekly passes and subscriptions reduce it by 20% to 45%. The current prices are always shown on the book page and the Plans page.

Why do I need to keep a minimum balance?

What happens if my balance goes below the minimum?

We send up to three low-balance warnings in a week. If it is still low when the next week's charges run, your account is paused: no new borrowing until you return your books and clear any dues. Your money is never forfeited.

When are weekly charges taken?

Every Monday at 12:00 AM (Indian Standard Time), for each book you still hold. Returning a book stops its charge.

What if I keep a book longer than Sunday?

It simply continues to be charged weekly. There is no extra late-fee percentage.
