Warning & Blocking Policy

What happens if your wallet stays below the minimum: three warnings, then a pause. Your money is never forfeited.

1. The minimum balance

While you hold books, your wallet must stay at or above the minimum shown on the Wallet page (one deposit per book held).

2. Warnings

If your balance is below the minimum, we send you a warning each morning, up to three warnings in a week, by notification and email. Recharging at any time stops the warnings.

3. Pausing (blocking) your account

• If, after three warnings in a week, your wallet is still below the minimum when the next week's charges run, your account is paused.
• While paused you cannot borrow new books or buy plans. You can still sign in, recharge, request returns and close your account.
• Weekly charges continue for books you still hold until they are returned.

4. Getting back to normal

Return your books and make sure your wallet is not in debt. Your account is then unblocked automatically and you can borrow again.

5. Your money is safe

Pausing is not a penalty on your balance. We do not forfeit, confiscate or reduce your wallet money. Unspent money you paid remains refundable to your original payment source as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
